The Farm
On the border of real wilderness of Sweden stands our homestead. It’s located in the area they call Gräsmark part of the Sunne municipality. Only the roads in this area alone are stunning.
The farm is not actually an oparational farm or homestead at this moment, but we have big plans for the future. By good Swedish custom we take it lagom, not to fast not to slow.
To relax after a hard days of work we have direct access to the forest. It has some of the nicest wild trails in the area to keep you walking for hours.
If we get sweaty, lake Grässjön located next to the farm, is awesome to cool down. With it’s sandy base and a long shallow edge.
Currently we have our vegtable garden with the greenhouse build and operational.
We now try to get something growing but the soil isn’t great yet. It’s a sandy potato ground, not a rich dark soil.

We make our own jams of all the types of berries we have growing on the farm and in the forest.
Bake our own bread almost every day. The kids don’t want anything else anymore.
Future plans are to have good soil, to grow a lot of food and turn part of the grasland into a rich perma culture vegitable garden. Fruit trees all round, and of course some lifestock in the form of horses, chickens and ducks.
It would be awesome to build a real pizza oven that can also serve as an oven to bake bread.
But first the campsite 😉 then we proceed with integrating food and the campsite together for our guests.
The farm comes with hunting rights in the surrounding woods. This goal is to get the hunting license somehwere in 2027.
